"Legends of Lost Time: Tower of Eternity" Opening

Existence is fleeting when time stands still. Without a point of reference by which to gauge a new beginning or fateful end, life escapes almost unnoticed.

The words enscribed in stone above the grand arch of the Tower of Eternity had long been lost on those who read them. It had been five years since William Smythe first encountered these cryptic phrases, and only today did he finally understand their true meaning. His discovery, he realized, would drastically alter the course of history -- most notably his own.
